Job summary

Insight Global in Houston, TX is seeking an Operations Associate to join the Capacity Planning Team. You will support Capacity Planning Specialists with carrier tasks, paperwork, transit tracking, and updates to the carrier sales team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong organization, proactive communication, and experience in sales or customer service; a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred, plus logistics industry experience.

Qualifications

Experience in a sales or customer service role (such as food service, bar tending, etc)
Ability to perform tasks in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as: Teams, Outlook, Excel
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational and note-taking skills
Willingness to learn
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics

Responsibilities

Support Capacity Planning Specialists on their daily tasks and operations
Follow up on carrier tasks and processing paperwork
Track active transit and provide updates to the carrier sales team on changes and escalations
Communicate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
