Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent management experience.
• Willingness to travel to account locations and relocate regionally as needed.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and external carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects to optimize fleet operations.
• Train and orient drivers and employees, including customer systems support.
• Improve efficiency of fleet operations, measure KPIs, and present reporting.
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment.
• Handle payroll, budgets, driver counseling, inspections, and pay issue resolution.
• Oversee yard operations and coordinate maintenance for safety and reliability.
• Coordinate issue resolution with drivers, customers, and staff throughout the day.
• Contribute to safety culture with daily messages, trainings, and policy enforcement.
• Plan loads, routes, and monitor freight to meet on-time delivery and customer needs.
