Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee in the Supply Chain department to learn to manage a small driver count, including nights and weekends, while ensuring safe, timely freight movement and top‑level customer service.

The program trains you to handle driver compliance, DOT regulations, and coordination with internal and external contacts for planning, routing, monitoring, and delivery of freight and loads. This is a full‑time entry path with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or equivalent military experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and outside carriers for seamless carrier setup and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and assist with projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Train drivers and employees on internal and third‑party systems; support onboarding.

Education
