Job summary

Addison Group is assisting an established truckin g and logistics organization in Phoenix, AZ by recruiting an HR Business Partner to support HR operations across locations. The role emphasizes employee relations, benefits, leave management, recruitment and onboarding in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

The HRBP will partner with leaders to implement HR strategies, interpret policies, and manage HRIS functions, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of general human resources experience.
• Broad HR generalist experience including employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience supporting blue-collar, industrial, transportation or similarly operational workforce.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employment practices, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
• Investigate employee complaints and workplace issues and recommend resolutions.
• Support employee engagement, retention, workplace morale and organizational effectiveness.
• Coordinate leave programs including FMLA and disability administration.
• Manage HRIS functions related to recruiting, onboarding, records, position management and unemployment claims.
• Assist with recruitment activities and onboarding; contribute to talent management initiatives.
• Provide guidance on benefits, compensation, payroll questions and other employee needs.
• Ensure policies align with federal and state regulations and are consistently applied.
• Coordinate training initiatives and monitor participation and effectiveness.
• Use HR data to identify trends, monitor retention and support staffing decisions.
• Develop HR reports and dashboards to provide leadership insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and reporting capabilities.
