• Must have proven sales track record in transportation and logistics.
• At least 4 years in sales or management role.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and MS Office.
• Experience in transportation, freight forwarding, or logistics outside sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build market position by locating, developing, defining and closing new business; arrange business development meetings with existing and prospective clients
• Become a subject matter expert on our business products and services offered, and remain up-to-date on industry related news
• Interact regularly with local management and develop close relationships with operations staff to ensure customer needs are met
• Develop a growth strategy and set quotas to meet ambitious revenue targets
• Follow-up with new clients and operations to ensure a seamless onboarding
• Perform market research to identify new pipeline opportunities; present and demonstrate value of products and services
• Utilize Salesforce or CRM to build a customer database, maintain pipeline, measure KPIs, forecast trends
• Exceed revenue goals and pricing objectives; collaborate with management on yield improvement
• Identify opportunities to propose supply chain solutions and improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned
