Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers seeks a Senior Account Executive for Global Freight Forwarding in Southern California. You will define regional expansion strategies, collaborate across Sales, HR, Finance, and operations to create a centralized knowledge hub, and build a territory roadmap with senior leaders to drive growth.

You will market end-to-end freight-forwarding services, develop a client base, craft compelling proposals, and guide onboarding with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in sales, business development, strategic planning or business operations.
• 3–4 years in outbound sales.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and formulate strategies for regional expansion in Los Angeles/southern CA.
• Build and launch a territory expansion roadmap with senior leaders.
• Demonstrate brand value and integrity with potential clients and partners.
• Market end-to-end freight-forwarding services including air and ocean, import/export, domestic.
• Develop and nurture business prospects and client base.
• Create and deliver sales proposals to key prospects and clients.
• Maintain complete client information in contact management database.
• Coordinate onboarding of new clients with internal departments.
• Demonstrate negotiation and closing techniques across products.
• Forecast and assess risks of growth and expansion plans.
• Coordinate with offices to deliver profitable joint freight programs.
• Define and drive logistics initiatives and pricing strategies.
