Job summary

Carvana in Minnesota is seeking a logistics operations manager to oversee day-to-day transportation at the assigned location, coordinating with site leaders and planning teams to meet schedules. This role supervises multiple teams and ensures safety and efficiency in yard and warehouse flows.

Responsibilities include mentoring direct reports, maintaining safety standards, and aligning daily operations with site goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance/regulations.
• Demonstrable experience leading or developing people (including managing CDL drivers).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations needs at assigned locations in coordination with other site leaders.
• Participate in the development of site specific goals and objectives, and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site.
• Review and evaluate daily route schedules and work with Planning to address issues and deficiencies.
• Mentor and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are met, including GEMBA walks.
• Ensure timely communication with internal teams and coordinate movement of inventory as needed.
