Job summary

RXO is seeking a Specialist, Logistics (SNE) in Naperville, IL to support order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination within a busy transportation network. The role emphasizes accuracy in load data, timely updates to managers and customers, and proactive problem resolution.

Key responsibilities include maintaining loads in the TMS, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with drivers to meet schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Schedule Thu-Sun 7:00 am–6:00 pm CST.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; inform receivers and customers of load status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers and ensure loads deliver on time; validate load data for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages and complete required documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads per manager directions.
• Provide detailed routing directions to drivers.
