SwingWing Auto Haulers LLC is seeking a highly organized Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate drivers on scheduled mail routes across the United States. The role ensures routes are staffed, drivers have up-to-date information, and loads are delivered on time while adhering to FMCSA regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in trucking dispatch or logistics, solid communication skills, and proficiency with load boards and transportation management software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, ELDs, and Hours of Service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
• Experience working with freight brokers and load boards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for scheduled mail routes across the United States.
• Ensure all routes are covered and communicate coverage issues to management.
• Monitor driver progress and provide real-time trip support.
• Communicate with customers, dispatch contacts, and drivers about pickups and schedules.
• Utilize load boards to secure backhaul freight and maximize equipment use.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance.
• Assist with route planning and scheduling to improve efficiency.
• Maintain dispatch records and shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Resolve delivery issues and communicate delays promptly.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
