• 2+ years of experience in transportation dispatch, logistics coordination, fleet operations, or a related role.
• Experience using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, or shipment tracking/tracing tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch company drivers for pickups, deliveries, transfers, and transportation activities.
• Develop, manage, and adjust daily delivery schedules based on priorities, customer requirements, traffic, and resources.
• Monitor transportation activity to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain communication with drivers to ensure route adherence and service expectations.
• Oversee movement of high-value and time-sensitive shipments, ensuring accuracy and delivery performance.
• Coordinate urgent deliveries and special transportation requests while balancing priorities.
• Utilize GPS tracking systems and TMS/tools to monitor fleet activity and provide status updates.
• Investigate delays, route deviations, and service exceptions to ensure rapid resolution.
• Serve as primary point of contact for drivers, communicating routing changes and operational updates.
• Collaborate with warehouse/shipping/inventory teams to support efficient product movement.
• Verify transportation documentation prior to dispatch and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Address delivery concerns in a timely, solution-oriented manner and build cross-functional relationships.
• Support reporting on transportation performance and costs and identify routing improvements.
