Job summary

Syfan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support our operations team in communicating with carriers and customers to ensure on-time service for all shipments.

You will maintain relationships with customers and carriers while using our transportation management system to track loads and resolve issues promptly. This role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced, open-office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience using transportation management systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer in an efficient and professional manner.
• Manages load information including pick-up and delivery times using logistics management software.
• Tracks and communicates movements of drivers to shippers and receivers.
• Directs and resolves inbound calls to obtain status updates for on-time delivery.
• Updates teams of shipment delays or issues when required.
• Documents all communications with carriers and customers in logs.
• Identifies load issues proactively and works with team to implement solutions.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned.
