Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of high school; post-secondary qualifications are a plus.
• 1–2 years in transportation, dispatch or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel and Word; typing accuracy.
• Willingness to learn TRUX system and route optimization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service and meet customer needs while following policy.
• Dispatch calls to routes based on route and driver location.
• Perform driver check-ins and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Review route sheets for end-of-day data entry.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve service issues.
• Interact with customers and Operations staff as needed.
• Help optimize routes with routing specialists and field teams.
• Field incoming calls and emails from customers and resolve issues.
