Qualifications

• High school diploma completed; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-2 years in transportation, dispatch or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of the industry is a plus.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends.
• Experience with TRUX is preferred; otherwise willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service and handle service changes per policy.
• Dispatch calls to routes based on designated route and driver location.
• Perform driver check-ins and ensure complete paperwork.
• Review route sheets for data entry accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve service issues.
• Interact with customers, sales and operations staff.
• Work with routing specialists to optimize routes.
• Handle incoming calls and emails from customers.
• Trouble shoot and resolve potential delivery issues.
• Assist in determining daily driver staffing levels.
• Document driver information and distribute to teams.
• Communicate with maintenance personnel.
