You will interact with drivers and customers daily, ensuring accurate paperwork and effective routing. A high school diploma and 1–2 years in related roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school; post-secondary courses could be asset.
• 1-2 years in transportation, dispatch or customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of industry is an asset.
• Advanced typing speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service and handle service changes per policy.
• Dispatch calls to routes based on route and driver location.
• Perform driver check-ins to ensure accurate paperwork.
• Distribute and review route sheets for end-of-day data entry.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve service issues.
• Assist Operations Manager with additional tasks.
• Interact with customers, sales, and Operations staff.
• Work with routing specialists to optimize routes.
• Field incoming calls and emails from customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup issues before they occur.
