Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the United States is seeking a part-time operations coordinator to coordinate pickup/delivery activities, monitor service metrics, and handle linehaul dispatch in alignment with the plan. You will communicate changes to BC/AOs, investigate customer issues, and ensure DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining maintenance records and assisting in driver training. The role requires punctuality, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations (DOT) is a plus.
• Experience in dock operations or administrative support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitors service, safety, cost and quality metrics daily.
• Communicates load plan changes with BC/AOs and updates systems.
• Investigates customer service complaints to resolve issues.
• Escalates unresolved issues to management.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance information and DOT compliance.
• Creates and maintains equipment and insurance files.
• Dispatches linehaul equipment and records dispatch events.
• Investigates delays and equipment failures and supports contingency plans.
• May conduct driver training classes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
