Job summary

Expeditors in Edison, NJ is seeking a detail‑oriented Customer Service professional to manage daily orders, invoicing, and reporting. You will coordinate with Transportation and Operations to expedite shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide timely updates to customers.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and strong problem‑solving skills in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience of 6 months to 1 year in similar duties and proficiency with standard software is

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• History of excellent attendance practices.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team, under high pressure and tight deadline.
• Willing to put in extra hours, as required.
• Well-organized, innovative, self-motivated.
• Fully proficient with various software applications preferably with a base knowledge of inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.
• Provides daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.
• Runs stock reports to check for product availability.
• Generates all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders.
• Assists others in their duties with all distribution accounts.
• Performs invoicing through ETMS.
• Conducts billings, including associated back-up and documentation.
• Maintains excellent working relationships with customers.
