Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Los Angeles to handle incoming calls, assist pilot stations and cartage agents, and track shipments.

You will respond to emails, follow procedures for NCS accounts, and maintain accurate shipment statuses while contributing to customer satisfaction. Our team values integrity, support, and flexible assistance during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities required.
• Proficiency with internet and online tools.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers
• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received through email
• Make outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues and update customers
• Track, trace, enter and update shipments
• Assist and support Pilot stations and cartage agents
• Master outside customer applications
• Follow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management’s attention
• Perform other duties as assigned
