Rhenus Logistics in Plainfield, Indiana seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for assigned customers, ensuring proactive service throughout the warehouse fulfillment process. You will coordinate with operations, resolve inquiries, and maintain accurate records to support timely service and billing cycles.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced contract logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or account coordination in logistics or warehousing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience with contract logistics or warehouse environments is valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication for customer interactions.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with WMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customer accounts in the warehouse.
• Respond to inquiries, provide updates, and manage customer expectations.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Own customer concerns through resolution and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation across systems.
• Coordinate weekly billing with Finance and support invoices.
• Assist with customer claims and investigations with operations.
• Prepare customer reports, KPIs, and meeting minutes in Excel.
• Participate in customer meetings and internal reviews for improvement.
• Keep customer data current in WMS and internal databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service levels.
• Promote a safe, organized, customer-focused work environment.
• Handle additional duties and special projects as assigned.
