Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Fort Smith, AR. You will manage shipments, provide tracking updates, quote requests, and coordinate between customers, service centers, and field teams.

This hourly, full-time role requires customer service excellence, multi-channel communication, and the ability to use multiple systems to resolve issues. Bachelor’s degree preferred; less than 1 year in logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Less than 1 year of experience in customer service or logistics.
• Proficient with PC and mainframe applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Accountability, active learning, customer focus, effective communications, prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about ArcBest services and solutions.
• Handle a high volume of interactions via phone, email, and chat.
• Provide tracking updates and communicate delivery changes.
• Maintain communication with internal and external customers.
• Use multiple systems to support customer needs.
• Identify requirements to generate shipping quotes.
• Schedule pickup requests and submit rate corrections.
• Create bills of lading and shipment documentation.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
