Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Customer Service Representative Logistics in Suffolk, VA. This role supports the Logistics Support Department, ensuring accurate load data, timely communication with account managers, and proactive problem resolution.

Key duties include entering loads into Freight Optimizer, monitoring pickups/deliveries, and investigating variances, with opportunities for growth within the organization. Candidates should have at least 1 year in logistics and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to interpret and act on written, verbal, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; inform receivers and customers on load status
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and intact arrivals
• Take check calls from drivers, ensuring loads will deliver on time; validate load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation
