Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our OD family culture. The role supports a high-volume service center, delivering courteous rate quotes, shipment status updates, and accurate Bill of Lading assistance.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
• Provide rate quotes, sales bids, status of shipments, and assist customers with Bill of Lading paperwork.
• Respond to customer issues and questions promptly.
• Provide Service 2.OD to internal and external customers.
• Assist with general office duties such as mailing, filing and copying.
• Scan documents into the computer system (Bill of Ladings, Delivery Receipts, permits, etc.).
