Forward Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in California to act as the primary contact for rate requests, shipment status inquiries, and service-related questions.

You will work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Billing, and other departments to provide timely responses and accurate information while supporting daily administrative tasks. The role requires at least one year in trucking/transportation, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifikationen

• Minimum one year of experience in trucking/transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and professional e-mail etiquette.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin) a plus.

Aufgaben

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding transportation rates, shipment status, service availability, and general account information.
• Prepare and provide accurate freight quotations while ensuring pricing aligns with company guidelines and service capabilities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Dispatch, Warehouse, and other departments to obtain shipment updates and ensure accurate customer communications.
• Monitor pending quotations and follow up with customers as appropriate.
• Enter, update, and maintain customer, pricing, and shipment information in the transportation management system (TMS) and other internal databases.
• Generate reports using the TMS, Microsoft Excel, and other business applications to support customer requests and internal operations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications, quotations, and service activities.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams and following issues through to completion.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and recommend operational efficiencies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
