Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic customer service coordinator to join our team in the United States. You will enter shipment orders into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and coordinate with drivers, shippers, and account managers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Enter shipment orders into Nippon Express’ Transportation Management System (TMW).
• Check calls to drivers for track and trace & GPS setup.
• Update account managers on issues and help create solutions.
• Call shippers and consignees to schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
• Request and retrieve PODs, backup paperwork, etc. from vendors.
• Maintain professional and courteous customer service relations with associates and carriers.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, carrier and company information.
• Support management and staff in assigned project-based work.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
