Job summary

NX GROUP (NIPPON EXPRESS GROUP) in Laredo, TX is seeking an experienced customer service coordinator to manage shipment orders, coordinate with drivers, and support account managers.

You will enter orders into Nippon Express’ Transportation Management System (TMW), perform track-and-trace calls, schedule pickups, retrieve PODs, and maintain professional carrier relations, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Salary: $24.00-$26.00

This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role

Responsibilities

• Entering Shipment Orders into Nippon Express’ Transportation Management System TMW.
• Check Calls to drivers for track and trace & GPS set up.
• Update account managers on any issues that arise helping to create and execute solutions.
• Calling shippers and consignees to schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
• Request & retrieve POD’s, backup paperwork, etc. from vendors.
• Maintain professional and courteous customer service relations with associates and carriers.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, carrier and company information.
• Support management and staff in assigned project-based work.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
