Job summary

Construction Specialties, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service/Order Entry specialist in Georgia. You will enter orders accurately, verify pricing and addresses, and communicate status to customers.

You will back up the Supply Chain Supervisor and help prepare shipping documents for domestic and international shipments. Responsibilities include resolving order issues, maintaining customer relationships, conducting surveys for management review, and performing inventory cycle counts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communications and public relations skills.
• Well organized and self-starter.
• Highly motivated with good problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; familiar with AS/400.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Acknowledge orders, verify pricing, billing, and shipping addresses; inform customers of issues.
• Research and resolve order problems.
• Process orders to meet deadlines.
• Conduct customer surveys and report results to management.
• Create packing lists and Bills of Lading; send as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Respond to questions and issues promptly and courteously.
• Keep customers informed of company policies and order status.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
