Job summary

Imperative Logistics Group in Atlanta, Georgia seeks a detail-oriented Customer Service and Operations Support professional. You will place bookings, route shipments, and communicate with airlines, cargo handlers, and delivery agents, while providing pricing information and consultative sales to customers.

Daily duties include resolving service issues, preparing quotes, supporting drivers and carriers, and maintaining carrier relationships.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and basic data entry.
Familiarity with proprietary in-house software or online applications.

Responsibilities

Place new bookings and route shipments to maximize service and profit.
Problem solve with customers and vendors (airlines and delivery agents).
Coordinate freight movement through shipment life-cycle with carriers and agents.
Monitor shipments from order entry to delivery to ensure on-time performance.
