Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Customer Service Representative in Roanoke, TX to handle orders, inquiries, and billing with efficiency. You will coordinate with transportation teams, input orders, track shipments, and maintain customer files in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Ideal candidates will have 6 months of related experience, familiarity with AS400 or warehouse systems, and strong MS Office skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Experience with AS400 operating systems and warehouse management systems preferred.
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers, customers, and co-workers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers by phone, email, or in person and receives orders or changes in service.
• Adjusts billing or service complaints and routes issues to designated departments.
• Processes and inputs customer orders, runs stock reports, and checks product availability.
• Generates paperwork for customer work orders and posts inventory records.
• Coordinates shipping requests with transportation departments and expedites orders as needed.
• Traces orders and notifies customers of activity including shipping and tracking.
