Job summary

GEODIS Warehouse Customer Service Representative is an on-site role in Texas, focused on handling customer interactions, processing orders, and coordinating shipping with the transportation team. The position requires basic experience with warehouse systems and MS Office.

Typical duties include updating records, resolving billing inquiries, and ensuring accurate invoicing while maintaining strong customer relationships and timely communication.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more related experience and/or training required.
• Experience with AS400 operating systems and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by phone, email, or in person and process orders or service changes.
• Address billing or service complaints and refer complex issues to relevant departments.
• Enter and verify customer orders, and run stock reports to check product availability.
• Prepare and process paperwork for work orders and check for special requests.
• Coordinate last-minute shipping requests with transportation, expediting orders as needed.
• Track orders and inform customers of shipping status and tracing information.
• Verify invoices and ensure accurate invoicing of accounts.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Report customer feedback to management and note any dissatisfaction signs.
• Serve as liaison between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes.
