Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Warehouse Customer Service Representative in Fond du Lac, WI. This on-site role handles customer interactions by phone, email, or in person, processes orders, and coordinates shipping and invoicing tasks to ensure accurate service delivery.

The position requires at least 6 months of related experience, familiarity with AS400 and WMS, and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Candidates should be able to write reports and effectively communicate with managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Experience with AS400 operating systems and warehouse management systems preferred.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, customers, and co-workers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with varied variables.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers by phone, email, or in person and receives orders or changes in service.
• Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered and refers complaints to designated departments for investigation.
• Processes and inputs all customer orders and receipts; runs stock reports to check product availability.
• Generates all related paperwork for customer work orders and posts inventory records.
• Coordinates special, last minute shipping requests with transportation departments.
• Traces orders and notifies customers of shipping/tracking information.
• Maintains a good working relationship with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints.
• Acts as liaison between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes.
