Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for customers, intercept faxed orders, enter orders, and follow up with requestors. The CSR communicates across departments and maintains high-quality phone etiquette to ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external DC reporting.

The position offers shift coverage on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm with overtime flexibility. Compensation is $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
• Experience with Windows-based order entry systems.
• Proficient data-entry skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• AS400 or other WMS experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process orders received by mail, fax, e-mail, EDI or telephone.
• Enter orders into an automated system and verify total cost.
• Inform customers of prices, shipping dates, delays and required information.
• Coordinate with warehouse or carrier personnel to expedite shipments.
