Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the main liaison between customers and operations in a fast-paced logistics environment in Charlotte, NC. You will manage orders, respond to inquiries, and help ensure timely movement of goods through the supply chain.

Ideal candidates are customer-focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to multitask and adapt to shifting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in business or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in logistics, 3PL, warehouse, distribution, or transportation environment required.
• 1-2 years of experience using a ticketing system such as ClickUp, Salesforce, ServiceNow preferred.
• Experience with WMS, SAP, Blue Yonder or similar systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, requests, and inquiries accurately within service-level expectations.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and inventory questions.
• Monitor customer orders and proactively communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations, transportation providers, inventory teams, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and system transactions.
• Prepare and distribute reports and customer communications as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
