Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier processes, freight terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/TMS systems; Oracle/JDE experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 5–10%, as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and shipping schedules.
• Assign shipments to approved carriers using routing guides and procedures.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Maintain shipment status, routing, charges, and records in designated systems.
• Escalate carrier service failures and delays to the National Freight Manager.
• Communicate schedules and exceptions to internal teams.
• Follow procedures and maintain transportation records.
