Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Minimum of two years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier processes, freight terminology, and freight documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/TMS systems; Oracle/JDE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and facility shipping schedules.
• Assign shipments to approved carriers using established routing guides and transportation procedures.
• Monitor shipments from scheduled pickup through delivery and maintain status records.
• Escalate carrier service failures and delays to the National Freight Manager.
