Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to execute daily transportation activities for timely product movement across facilities. You will schedule shipments, assign carriers, and track status while maintaining documentation in JDE and other systems.

This role requires 2+ years in logistics, strong communication, and the ability to resolve routine issues, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, supply chain or related field.
Minimum two years in transportation or logistics operations.
Working knowledge of carrier processes, freight terminology, and documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/JDE/Oracle experience preferred.
Strong organization and communication skills with ability to manage multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

Schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and facility shipping schedules.
Assign shipments to approved carriers using routing guides and procedures.
Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and maintain records in systems.
Escalate service failures or delays to the National Freight Manager as needed.
Communicate status and exceptions to internal stakeholders and customers.
