Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation activities for timely movement of products across facilities. You will schedule shipments, assign carriers, track status, and maintain documentation in JDE, ensuring exceptions are escalated appropriately.

The role requires a minimum of two years in transportation/logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel 5–10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related operations.
• Working knowledge of transportation operations, carrier processes, freight terminology, and freight documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/TMS systems; Oracle/JDE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and facility shipping schedules.
• Assign shipments to approved carriers using routing guides and procedures.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery and maintain accurate status and charges.
• Escalate service failures and exceptions to the National Freight Manager as needed.
