Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Controller with logistics industry experience to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) practice in Milwaukee. You will work 1:1 with clients, developing internal controls, budgeting, and financial planning to support business growth.

Bachelor's degree and 7 years of accounting/finance experience required; CPA preferred but not required. QuickBooks and MS Office skills are essential; travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of relevant accounting/financial experience in logistics preferred.
• Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• In-office travel to client sites; occasional non-local travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies and guidelines for budgeting and cash management.
• Direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, and investment activities.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate funding needs and investment of surpluses; advise on objectives.
• Monitor KPI and performance of accounting staff; manage client relationships.
• Provide management with short- and long-term financial guidance; prepare board materials.
