Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 7 years of relevant accounting/finance experience required; logistics industry preferred.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with accounting software and systems; QuickBooks highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Willingness to travel locally and non-local as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal control policies and procedures for budgeting and cash management.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, and investments.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for regulatory needs.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives.
• Monitor KPIs and performance of accounting staff; implement actions.
• Communicate with boards and investors; prep board materials.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting standards.
• Direct and support client relationships for CLA CAAS practice.
