Job summary

Palletized Trucking Inc. is seeking a Logistics Business Development Representative to drive new revenue through hunter-focused sales in our 3PL brokerage division.

You will prospect, onboard, and rapidly grow new customer accounts and build a national pipeline. You'll collaborate with account management and operations to ensure smooth onboarding, provide strategic logistics solutions, and maintain CRM-driven outreach across calls, emails, LinkedIn, and referrals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Logistics / 3PL / Freight Brokerage sales.
• Strong hunter mentality with proven success in new business acquisition.
• Domestic full truckload (FTL) experience.
• Understanding of TMS platforms.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation ability and objection-handling skills.
• High attention to detail and self-directed problem solving.
• CRM experience (Salesforce, Hubspot).
• 4-year degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding new customers.
• Generate qualified leads based on target markets and ideal customer profiles.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline in CRM.
• Conduct high-volume outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals.
• Build long-term relationships with prospects and newly onboarded customers.
• Demonstrate industry knowledge to identify and solve customer needs.
• Manage communication with new accounts during the first 90 days.
• Collaborate with account management and operations to ensure onboarding.
• Analyze market trends to provide pricing and solutions.
• Create professional proposals and present pricing and service solutions.
