gpac is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Logistics in the Green Bay, WI area. This onsite role leads transportation sales and operations, driving freight brokerage execution and customer satisfaction. A strong background in cross-border logistics and DOT compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of transportation/logistics experience.
• Strong leadership across sales, operations, and transportation brokerage.
• Experience with freight brokerage operations and cross-border shipping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation SALES and OPERATIONS leadership.
• Lead RFP and RFIs, pricing, lane analysis, and customer requirements.
• Oversee brokerage operations, including carrier relationships, load execution, and service performance.
• Manage lane assignments, capacity planning, and carrier capacity.
• Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs and operational metrics.
• Partner with sales to develop solutions, improve margins, retain customers, and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor transportation performance, service levels, costs, and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
• Oversee cross-border transportation operations and related compliance requirements.
• Identify operational efficiencies and implement processes that improve service and profitability.
• Develop and lead transportation teams while holding managers and staff accountable for performance.
• Work directly with customers, carriers, and internal leadership to resolve complex transportation issues.
• Provide strategic insight into capacity, pricing, service, and overall transportation performance.
