Job summary

Crete Carrier Corporation is seeking a dedicated supervisor to coordinate operations for an assigned dedicated account, overseeing drivers, routing, and customer service to ensure loads are delivered safely and on time.

You will assign loads, monitor driver hours of service, manage scheduling, and serve as the primary contact for the customer base. Strong leadership and communication are essential, along with the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or 3–4 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills are required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assigns loads and routes drivers based on available hours and customer needs.
• Serves as main point-of-contact for an assigned customer base and monitors all customer-specific loads from tender to delivery.
• Performs supervisory responsibilities to manage drivers, including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Communicates customer issues with appropriate departments as needed.
• Monitors trailer pools at assigned locations and coordinates movement of trailers; guides detention issues.
• Validates driver hours of service to safely and legally facilitate load delivery.
• Balances time off requests with operational needs to move freight.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships; receives and carries out instructions; maintains attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
