U.S. Air Forces, Europe is seeking a Lodging Front Desk Clerk to manage reservations, guest check-ins/outs, and payment processing. The role requires accurate cash handling, daily reporting, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the lobby and guest areas on an RAF base.

Applicants must be prepared for shift work, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special situations. Foreign education may be considered, but the posting notes no substitution for required experience.

Qualifications

• Experience front desk operations in lodging or hospitality.
• Ability to process payments and issue receipts accurately.
• Familiarity with guest check-in/out procedures.

Responsabilités

• Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact.
• Registers rooms, assigns keys, and escorts guests as needed.
• Calculates and posts charges to patrons’ accounts and balances totals with control records.
• Maintains cash receipts and prepares cashier's reports.
• Ensures housekeeping status and front desk area cleanliness.
• Follows Night Audit procedures and manages lost and found.
