Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site, delivering full-service tax return preparation and expert advice. You’ll engage with clients face-to-face and virtually, building relationships and guiding them through personal and business tax needs.

You’ll collaborate with a broader team to offer bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services. You’ll grow the local client base, host community events, and use marketing tools to expand TurboTax’s footprint.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri; training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Act as a community ambassador, growing a local client base and engaging in grass-roots marketing with Marketing support.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem services (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, Credit Karma).
• Build lasting relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience across in-person and virtual meetings.
• Represent TurboTax with professionalism, helping clients achieve financial goals and year-round support.
