Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to deliver hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at local TurboTax locations in the United States.

You will work with a team to serve in-person and virtual clients, addressing personal and business tax needs and driving end-to-end solutions within the Intuit ecosystem. You will act as a community ambassador, building local relationships, organizing financial literacy events, and expanding the TurboTax client base while leveraging marketing

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development, with potential changes by business needs.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income, deductions, amendments.
• Serve as a local ambassador to grow the client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and help clients achieve financial goals.
• Interact in-person and via Intuit video tools to assist clients with questions and tax challenges.
