Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice, preparation, and software support at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end client experiences.

You will be an on-site trusted advisor, building local relationships, growing the client base, and leveraging marketing tools to create ongoing prosperity for clients and the community.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney credentials with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN is required by law to file taxes.
• At least 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite work at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, minimum 20 hours per week; hours may scale during tax season.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business; uniforms provided and name used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; create accessible tax content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; holistic tax advisory experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions beyond tax filing, including bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships through tax engagements and client meetings to create long-term loyalty.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear guidance.
