Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks enthusiastic TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full-service tax preparation and expert advice.

You’ll be embedded with a team, helping clients manage personal and business taxes, and coordinating with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and planning. You’ll grow the local client base, participate in community outreach, and use Intuit tools to provide a top-tier customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver comprehensive services.
• Deliver year-round TurboTax support and help clients maximize refunds and future planning.
• Attend client meetings on-site and via Intuit tools to ensure seamless service.
