Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while building a local client base and collaborating with a team of specialists across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

You’ll engage with clients in person and virtually, helping with straightforward and complex tax scenarios, and growing the local TurboTax footprint through events

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit; onsite work required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Act as a local growth driver, attract clients, and organize community outreach events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma services.
• Build Relationships – Develop long-term trust with clients and expand annual engagements.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – Ensure professional, helpful support with in-person and virtual meetings.
