Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide on-site tax preparation, expert guidance, and personalized support to both in-person and virtual clients.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. This role emphasizes community engagement and ongoing growth within your local market.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert with content creation.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow a local customer base and represent TurboTax professionally.
• Develop relationships with clients and connect them to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services as appropriate.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with in-person and virtual client interactions.
