Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while building local relationships and driving client growth.

You’ll collaborate with a team of tax specialists to deliver end-to-end service, from discovery through year-round planning, helping clients maximize refunds and achieve financial goals in everyday language.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training and cross-training.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising with name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert and creating tax-related content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local client base and engage with the community.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships with clients to turn one-time transactions into long-term partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear guidance.
