Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, guidance, and software support while building a local client base and collaborating across Intuit services.

You will engage clients in person and virtually, delivering personalized tax solutions and fostering long-term relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practising Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising with their name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients across simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning to address needs.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, ensuring clients understand tax implications and options.
