Job summary

Intuit seeks dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, complete tax returns, and guide clients through personal and business tax scenarios, while collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

You will actively grow your local client base, build relationships, and represent Intuit in community events and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attny with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software; familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Must complete all required training and development; cross-training may be required.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow the local client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships for long-term client engagement and loyalty.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience using Intuit tools and video tech.
